On Wednesday, December 5, 2018, the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor visited Nafplio, where he unveiled a commemorative plaque dedicated to Ioannis Kapodistrias, whose family had its roots in Capo d’Istria, the historical name of the city of Koper in Slovenia. This was followed by a tour of the historic center of Nafplio.
